There are numerous rocket launches that are visible from the beach; it's a very exciting experience, especially at night. Listen the roar upon lift-off, hear the sonic boom when the boosters descend through the atmosphere, see the red flash of the awesome fuel burn as the rocket ascends ever upward toward space. COCOA BEACH PIER
